About Us

Asulprusia is a Cuban, Costa Rican photography duo based in Miami, formed by Elizabeth Echemendia and José Arellano. Their work is shaped by their Latin American roots and by backgrounds that continue to inform a visual language that is both intuitive and deliberate.

Lovers of art, nature, music, space, the human figure, and nostalgia, they are drawn to images that feel lived in. Their practice explores identity, presence, and human connection through photographs that balance emotion with structure, intimacy with intention. Poetry, a crucial part of Elizabeth's creative universe, runs through their work with a quiet sensitivity to rhythm, space, and silence.

Their work has been commissioned by artists such as Tainy, Epic Records, Sony Music Latin, and Disney+, while their portraits have featured figures including Jasmine Tookes, Camila Mendes and Serena Williams. They have also collaborated with brands including Nordstrom, Montce, Prada Beauty, and Maison Margiela, bringing a strong understanding of visual storytelling and brand identity to their commercial work. Their photography has also been featured in publications including Soap Magazine, Billboard, Rolling Stone, and Numéro Netherlands.
